Awaiting Earnestly

2005 promises some quality stuff for hungry fans of Bollywood. In a few months from now RGV's Factory will start shelling out one movie after other. "D", "My Wife's Murder", "Boo - Darna Zaroori Hai" and last but not the least RGVs own directorial magnum opus "Sarkar" are in the pipeline. Thats a mouthful!. Other than that will be Aamir Khan's "The Rising/Mangal Pandey" after almost 3 years and next after Lagaan. Shaad Ali's "Bunty Aur Babli" and Shyam Benegal's "Bose - The Forgotten Hero" are worthwhile prospects. ARR scores for "Bose" and "The Rising", SEL for "Bunty Aur Babli" while Salim Suleiman will handle most of RGVs background scores since his films mostly would be songless. Bollywood churns out crap after crap every year but handful of movies like the above ones make it what it is, maintain it and nourish it.

Saw the trailer of Sarkar almost a month ago at Mangala... Its not hit television yet. Bose ke trailers have... vintage Rahman. Sounds promising.

Have u heard of Virudh, Its an Amitabh, Sharmila tagore movie. I had seen its trailor a while ago on indiatimes. Amitabh as usual was rocking. The trailor was interesting. It seemed to be a movie in Baghbaan mould or something like that. But I think will be worth mentioning in your list. So also is Ranveer. Its a Rajkumar Santoshi film, with Amitabh and Abhishek.
